Philanthropic NomadLand: Fundraising, DEI, innovation and multiplicity of philanthropy

Originally from Beijing China and a naturalized Canadian citizen, and now based in Berlin Germany, Melody Song CFRE had been a fundraiser in the nonprofit sector for over 15 years with cross-border fundraising experience in Canada, China, and Europe. Other than literally wandering around the world and living in different cultures, Melody is also interested in bringing innovative, interdisciplinary, and multicultural approaches to fundraising practices. In this conversation, she will be talking about world trends in fundraising and philanthropy, her learnings from conducting empathy-based diversity/inclusion workshops on both continents, and how human-centred design methods can bring inclusion to every aspect of our fundraising practice.
